Ron had his one week check up yesterday on his left eye. The good news is that all is progressing well with that eye. His vision at the moment is very close to 20/20. With his astigmatism, that might change a little but, but not expected to change much. He was given a new schedule for his eye drops, which has him tapering off of them one drop at a time.
The bad news is that there is such a disparity between his left eye and his right eye, that he's having trouble seeing. He can see out of one eye or the other at any given time, but he's having issues trying to use both eyes at the same time.
Back to good news! He has been approved to have cataract surgery on his right eye now! Yahoo! Even better news is that his surgery is scheduled for next Wednesday, August 30th! He just has to hang in there one more week with his vision problems and he should be a new man.
I guess this means I have to go back to shaving my legs once he is able to see.
