Happy Birthday, Ron! One More Time!!

Today was the family birthday party for Ron.  We have a tradition around here.   When it's YOUR birthday, you get to pick where you want to go.  That is why we all schlepped way over to I-271 to hit Phil the Fire, a favorite of Ron's!

Their tag line is comfort food for the soul and their specialty is chicken and waffles.  Your birthday, your choice.

The best part is the family coming together to celebrate one of their own.  We had on one side of the table, from left to right, Phil, Bev, Wes, Georgia and Susan.

On the other side of the table, again left to right we have Margie, Tom, Linda and Larry.

And then, a shot of everyone.  Have you noticed that they put us in a private room?  They must have heard about this group before!  Of course, I finally got a picture of the birthday boy himself there at the head of the table!

We all had a great lunch and of course the best part was just being together for an afternoon of love, laughs, catching up and stories of growing up.

Ron's already working on where he wants to go next year for his birthday.  Is he a man after my own heart or what!  This is why I love birthdays!!  Happy Birthday, honey!
